For business students, there is no better place to visit than Madrid. It is home to one of the oldest and most recognised business schools in the world, with branches also in Berlin, London, Paris and Warsaw. For those students with a passion for fashion, a visit to Galicia is highly recommended. The region exports the highest amount of fashion in Spain and is the home of one of the world’s largest textile groups, Inditex, which owns a range of world recognised fashion brands such as Zara and Berskha. Industry Visits

Nowadays, many of Spain’s large industries operate with some of the best and most modern technology available. For those students interested in science and technology - come Andalusia and see for yourself how it is done! For astronomy lovers, you can visit the Sierra Nevada Astronomy Observatory (the highest in Europe) or the Calar Alto Astronomy Observatory in Almería, which is the biggest astronomy complex in mainland Europe.

Students can now also take a trip to the Tabernas desert to see the largest solar energy platform, as well as the art of clean energy production and the creation oxygen experiments from the Moon’s soil. In addition, come and take a look at ‘the plastic desert’ in Almería, which is the largest greenhouse on Earth, to learn how amazing high-technology methods are used in the production of our fruit and vegetables.

Sport

As football is Spain’s most popular sport, you will find a range of high level football facilities all over the country. The sport city of Valdebebas in the north of Madrid boasts 12 football pitches with natural grass, a medical centre, physiotherapy room and 4 swimming pools. Or, why not come to Alicante? Football facilities here include 4 FIFA sized pitches, technoGym equipment and wellness spas, where teams such as FC Barcelona, CF Valencia and Borussia Dortmund have trained. Cultural Activities

If you’d prefer something more hands-on, there are plenty of opportunities to attend classes and workshops. Transport

The city of Madrid is located right in the centre of Spain, meaning the Madrid-Barajas International Airport is extremely well connected to every other Spanish city, as well as plenty of international countries. Most of Spain’s large cities have their own international airports as well, such as Barcelona El Prat Airport, Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport, Valencia Airport, Sevilla Airport and San Sebastián Airport. Spanish cities also have very efficient public transport systems, including metros, trains and buses.
